And as the song goes “So this is Christmas..” Where has the year disappeared too? It has been filled with much excitement, lots of wine and many great memories. I hope the next year, Twothousand and men, or as others know it - twentyten, will be filled with just as much happiness, wine and memories. and MEN!!

But back to the spirit of Christmas. It’s a time for love and giving and to celebrate the birth of Christ. I miss how simple it can be, and am completely over the commercialism of the holiday. I would love to forget the present giving and just have another day where it can be spent enjoying the company of loved ones, eating great food and remembering it is a celebration of Jesus, the guy who saves our souls.

However, I am loving the awesome present from JKL buddies…my 80s Timex watch. Love sent to you guys, a great success and a great Christmas party completed!

La Playa.

I have almost finished my 2nd year of university!!I had my last exam on Monday arvo and celebrated marvellously with AMBK - chicken, ham, pineapple, spinach, cheese pizza and a nutella, marshmellow and banana pizza!!! Have to say, they were both quite delectable and will definately offer them on my pizza menu!

Also went to the beach the other day! Was fabulous!! The sun was shining, a light north-east breeze blowing, my new bikini working wonderfully!! HAHAHA until i got patch burnt. Now its getting itchy. Sunburn is a bitch. Nevertheless, more each days are on the cards this week, the next and the next and the next and the next….

La cuenta por favor!

~~Today has been hectic.~~ This week has been hectic. Two assignments, two exams, Melbourne Cup (which, by the way, was SHOCKING, and should be much more exciting next time..), hospital check-up, work and dinner at the pub. But to top the week off I had un delicioso cenar con mis amigas!

We went to Encasa on Pitt St, and my oh my is tapas grande! I know I’m going to Spain, but I have never had tapas before. it is heaven! Chorizo, scollop with crumbled blue cheese on mash pumpkin, garlic chilli prawns, sangria! what more could u ask for….three gorgeous camereros who hablando espanol with us!! I got a named, Barca, and we had some simple but awesome conversations with them!! La cuenta por favor!

Cannot wait to go back…but until then, more restaurants need discovering!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Not so cool…

Enrollment today at uni.

WHAT. A. HASSLE.

Seriously, UTS needs to workout how they want the enrollment procedures to go. I have currently enrolled 3 different times, twice with much confusion, once with no luck and I’m still waiting to be accepted into my final two subjects. Next year is going to be a long one.. lots of early mornings, but I will remain committed to going to all classes.. hahaha let’s see how long that lasts!

On the brightside, next year’s enrollment is just ‘In-country Study’. Twice. That’s it. How exciting!!
